Outing to Aldeburgh

Our collection of umbrellas as we waited for the bus showed that the weather was not kind for our outing. However we replaced the thoughts of fish and chips on the beach with a fine lunch in the Galleon restaurant instead and you can see a photograph of the restaurant's figurehead in one of the pictures below. The photographs are a random collection of memories of the day and include some of our members (I even managed to sneak into one - see if you can spot me). I included some sundials, Benjamin Britten's house (among others I chose for their fine looks), and the town's latest sculpture, a fine metal cockleshell hinting to the town's fishing heritage - oh and look out for Snooks!
